At Yam Cha Cafe, the menu focuses on the delectable Nyonya dishes. During our visit, we tried their Chicken Curry Kapitan with Rice, Pandan Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng, and indulged in a refreshing lemongrass iced tea to complete the set. Also tried out a piece of the kuih tekan.

The Chicken Curry Kapitan, a Nyonya specialty, was a burst of flavors that tantalized our taste buds. The tender chicken pieces were bathed in a fragrant and robust curry. Paired with steamed rice, this dish was a definite winner in terms of taste and authenticity.

Next, we had the Pandan Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng. The fragrant pandan-infused rice, served alongside crispy fried chicken, was good. The Ayam Goreng boasted a crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside.

To complete our meal, we couldn’t resist trying the ‘Tekan’ Nyonya Kuih. We dipped the kuih with kaya and it was tasty.
