Hakka Rang Restaurant is located in SS 2, the Chow Yang area. From their Instagram, this is a branch from its Kota Damansara home branch. It opened its door around March 2022 however we did not pay much attention to it.
Until recently when we noticed we had covered almost all the eateries at the Chow Yang area, we know we need to complete coverage. Hence we will be visiting the eateries that we have not tried very soon.
Deep fried crispy pork with fermented bean curd, served with rice
Soup of the day - peanuts, lotus root boiled with pork belly. The soup was not boiled for too long we guess. The taste was ok for a bowl of the soup of the day

Dinner at Hakka Rang Restaurant on a weekday. All set meal comes with rice and appetizer. We had the cold tofu with fried onion and spring onion sauce
Crispy deep fried pork. The pork was very fragrant
The wild boar curry. The gravy was thick and full of flavour, not too spicy
We liked this cold tofu. The sauce of spring onion and fried onion complement the tofu very well. It was not pure salty but had layered of flavour in it
Beautiful mugs
Clean, neat and cosy environment. We like the wooden tables and chairs
