We visited Kampar Cafe on a lazy Sunday morning, and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the cafe was. The decor was simple and unassuming. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet breakfast.
The menu at Kampar Cafe is relatively small, but that’s not a bad thing. It means that we focus on doing a few dishes really well. Of course, we had to try our signature dish – the Kampar noodles. We ordered the soup version with mee hoon as the mains. There were many ingredients such as few variety of meat ball and beef ball, also with fried fu zhuk and tau pok. It was a simple dish, but executed perfectly.
Next, we tried the curry chee cheong fun. The curry was rich and flavourful, with just the right amount of heat. The chee cheong fun itself was silky smooth, and soaked up the curry sauce nicely.
Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast at Kampar Cafe. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful.
