There are not really many Taiwan Restaurant in the town. Din Tai Fung could be one of it but for more varieties of foods, we always went to Fong Lye.
Set meals with side dishes, soup and rice. The rice has braised meat on it to add flavor. It was the signature 卤肉饭 of Taiwan

On top of the famous set meal. There are many signature dishes at Fong Lye such as sweet potatoes, deep fried chicken, fried tempura, etc. All dishes are full of Taiwan flavor.

We ordered a steamed fish with pineapple and marinated sweet beans and a fried chicken chop. Both came in set with side dishes (different each day) and a bowl of hard boiled soup
The steamed fish tasted quite strong in flavour - salty and tangy with the gravy. Very appetizing. Too bad the portion has reduced over the year, still remember that it used to be double the fish size. *Inflation*
Star of the dinner - deep fried chicken chop. The chicken was very crunchy and juicy as well. The marinate was done good.
