The food at Din Tai Fung
We ordered a tray of pork xiao long bao, a bowl of spicy and sour noodle, a plate of pork chop fried rice and a tray of yam xiao long bao as dessert.
Din Tai Fung’s xiao long bao was juicy as usual. Taste elevated when paired with ginger and the vinegar sauce.
The pork chop was huge and thick, flavorful as well. The fried rice was perfect, full of wok hei.
The spicy sour noodle’s texture was firm and springy, I would call it ‘crunchy’ and I liked that texture. It would be good if the sourness could be more.
The yam xiao long bao had the same skin as the pork xiao long bao, however it was not juicy but filled with yam paste. The yam paste came with a hint of fragrant which was not too strong, just the right amount.
The environment
The restaurant is already huge, with the distancing requirement, the dining area feels spacious. Service was good as always.
The dinner was around RM 80.
Worth returning to Din Tai Fung?
