What we ordered in Nyonya Restaurant
Yup … we did it again. We re-visited the restaurant to explore their menu and try their nyonya specialty.
This time round, we had Kerabu Mee Hoon and Curry Chicken set meal.
First up, let’s us dig into Kerabu Mee Hoon. It is simple comfort food, fried mee hoon toasted with their kerabu mix/ sauce, which come between spicy and sweet, appetizing. The Kerabu Mee Hoon comes with prawn, taugeh, diced onion and a half-boil egg. It is priced at RM10.90.
Food adventures continue in Nyonya Restaurant
Up next, the meal set Curry Chicken with rice. The meal, comes with Curry Chicken, Sambal sotong and Acar vegetable, serves with white rice, a bowl of soup and end with dessert of your choice.
Curry chicken is flavourful coupled with their sambal sotong and acar, you may end up nasi tambah 🙂
Finally, we ordered their Kerabu Lady Fingers as add-on. Lady fingers cut, steam and covered with their kerabu mix/ sauce (savoury flavor diced onion, chilli & garlic) and topped with cut hard boil eggs. Its priced at RM17.50.
Nyonya Restaurant's environment and price
The restaurant is spacious, ample sitting with few round tables to cater for family dining-in. Their yellow color chair and soothing lighting set a nice ambient for one to have a comfortable meal with friend and family.
They have authentic nyonya cuisines for everyone, from ikan gulai tumis, mengkuang char, sayur paku, sambal udang petai, the various kerabu selection kerabu mango, kerabu lady fingers and also kerabu paku.
Not forgetting the dessert, set meal will conclude with a dessert of your choice, we had sago gula melaka (not too sweet). The others dessert selection, Cendol, Ice Kacang, Red Ruby or Bubur Cha Cha (each priced at RM5.50)
