Manjoe Taiwanese Dumplings - The Gardens Mall

Manjoe is a Taiwanese restaurant located in The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant serves no pork and no lard. On a recent visit, we tried their XL fried chicken chop set and Braised minced chicken with scallion oil dry noodle set, both of which were absolutely delicious.

The XL fried chicken chop set consisted of a huge piece of boneless chicken, coated in a crispy batter and deep-fried to perfection. The chicken was juicy and tender on the inside, while the outside was crispy and sprrinkled with mala flavored powder. The set came with a generous serving of rice, pickled vegetables, a bowl of soup and a braised egg.

The Braised minced chicken with scallion oil dry noodle set was equally delicious. The noodles were nice done and tossed in a fragrant scallion oil sauce, which gave the dish a unique and savory flavor. The set also came with pickled vegetables, soup and a braised egg, which complemented the dish perfectly.

To round off our meal, we also ordered a side of pan-fried chives dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful chive and vegetable filling.
