Top Catch Fisheries, Taman Megah – Fresh Sashimi
Been finding a replacement for sashimi place ever since Ume Tei has relocated, difficult task but there are some choices, Top Catch Fisheries could be one of them.
The Menu at Top Catch Fisheries
Top Catch Fisheries, located in Taman Megah, like the name suggests, it is more like a fish / seafood store. There are wide ranges of frozen stuffs and cooking ingredients. On top of that, they provide fresh sashimi for take away. There is no dine in area when I was visiting the store.
The Sashimi
Picked the sashimi with 3 types of fish: salmon, tuna and yellow tail (hamachi). The fishes were fresh and looked shiny under the light. Made it extra tempting.
Yellow tail are not usually available in the Japanese chained restaurant. All the sashimi just melted in the mouth. Salmon looked extra orangey, and the fat just evenly spread out. Heavenly to go with the wasabi and shoyu.
The self bought perilla leaves just elevated the taste of this meal.
The Price at Top Catch Fisheries
The sashimi box costs RM 35. One bowl of sushi rice costs RM 3.5.
The wasabi (1 small cube) and shoyu (2 packs) were including in the sashimi price. Additional is chargeable.
