For our dinner, we decided to try the boiled sliced beefs and stir-fry Chinese yam with black fungus. We were not disappointed. The sliced beefs were tender and cooked to perfection. They had just the right amount of spice without overpowering the flavors of the beef. The spices used added a fragrance that made every bite even more enjoyable. The spicy soup was not too spicy and was perfect to go with the rice. Not forgetting to mention that there were noodle within the boiled beefs. It was not mentioned in the menu, else we would have ordered one less bowl of rice.
The stir-fried Chinese yam with black fungus was good as well. The combination of textures and flavors was simply delightful. The yam had a soft yet slightly crunchy texture, while the black fungus added a unique earthy taste. It was a great accompaniment to the sliced beefs and created a perfect balance on our palate.
