After three years, we were back in Bangkok again. Our last trip before the lockdown was to Bangkok as well, it was back in 2019.
We have been to Bangkok for many times so this round we tried not to revisit previously visited restaurant or eateries. Bangkok has been so vibrant so there will be no shortage of places to go.
Lunch - Thong Smith Beef Boat Noodle, Central World
This was the first time we came across Thong Smith when browsing through places to go. We really wondered why did we not stumbled upon it before
We ordered a spicy beef boat noodle with beef balls, shank and beef slices in egg noodle. Another bowl was all wagyu beef slices in flat noodle. The broth was thick, full of beef and umami flavor. It was so so good
Cold roselle drink and Thai coconut milk custard. The custard has slight saltiness,, glad that we ordered it
Thai coconut milk custard - melted in the mouth kind of dessert. It came with both sweet and savory flavor
Thong Smith Central World. It has many outlets within the big malls in Bangkok
Tea Break - Paul Central World, Bangkok
We know Paul has an outlet in Pavillion but we have never been there. Why not try out the Bangkok's outlet right? 🙂
Lemon meringue tartlet
Millefeuille fraises
Assorted pastries at Paul
Taste of France - Paul
Assorted pastries and bakeries at Paul
Dinner - Laem Charoen Seafood Emquartier
Crab fried rice. It was ok, would be good if had more wok hei
Squid somtum - appetizing and spicy
Laem Charoen Seafood has few outlets in Bangkok. The night we went over most of the diners were tourists like us
Seafoods in clear tomyum soup. This bowl of soup had A LOT of seafoods ingredients in it. We did not expect that much of them
Two full small bowls of seafoods: prawns, squids and fishes. There were also mushrooms in the soup
Satisfying dinner to mark the end of first day in Bangkok, 2022
