Chong Kok Kopitiam, a timeless & iconic of Klang. Its fondly known as Chong Kok to the Klangites, located along an intermediate pre-war shoplots.
They established since 1940 (yes, you read it right – its 82 years old now) at time of writing.
The family runs business, now manages by the 3rd generation of Foo family. This timeless kopitiam captured the muhibbah spirit of Klang folks, where you find people from all walks of life and races dine and mingling together.

Let’s check out their menu, firstly the must-have, half boiled eggs – as you crack open the eggs, its bright yellow egg yolks – done to perfection just made your day start right 🙂
Secondly, the charcoal toast bun, bread or the Jagung (wholemeal bun) – which they served together with their home-made kaya & butter sejuk at the side (so you can spread the kaya & butter at the amount of your liking).
Lastly, of course Chong Kok’s beverages – the classic and timeless kopi, kopi-o, teh or cham, a perfect breakie combo to start your day.
Simple yet aunthetic Kopitiam
Chong Kok maintain its simple yet classic kopitiam concepts since many decades back, faithfully serving its local and outstations visitors – with their authentic kaya/butter charcoal grill toast, half-boiled eggs & beverages.
Usually, weekend morning can be very packed with crowds (family, friends / morning joggers) queueing up to catch their breakie.
Beside its toast bread and bun. Their pre-packed nasi-lemak its good too – pulau ketam nasi lemak will suit those prefer spicy while nasi lemak bungkuk is more savory and non-spicy.
Tried their kuih-muih – pulut inti kelapa manis, love them.
On a side-note, Chong Kok Kopitiam have their branch in Central i-city mall too.
