Slurrp: A Taste of Sarawak in SS2/Sea Park
In the busy SS2/Sea Park area, you’ll find a new restaurant called Slurrp, gaining popularity for its authentic Sarawakian food. We recently visited during lunch, and it was packed. Let’s talk about what we ordered and how it tasted.
Love Sarawak foods? Checkout other restaurants that we visited previously:
The Must-Try Dish: Sarawak Laksa
First, we had the Sarawak Laksa, a comforting soup with prawn stocks and coconut milk. It includes noodles, prawns, chicken, bean sprouts, and egg roll slices. They give you special sambal and lime to adjust the flavor.
A Comforting Bowl: Kampua
Next, we tried their signature dish, Kampua. It’s a delicious noodle dish with a special onion oil. It comes with dumplings, red char siew, and pork lards. They also serve it with pickled chili for a bit of spice.
Kiaw: Unique Pork Dumplings
To finish, we tried Kiaw, a different kind of pork dumpling. They have a unique flavor. The pork inside is juicy and tasty, wrapped in a thin skin.
In conclusion, Slurrp is a must-visit if you want to taste Sarawakian food in SS2/Sea Park. Whether you’re from Sarawak or just curious about the food, Slurrp has something for you. It’s no wonder the place was full during our visit. We look forward to trying more of their tasty dishes soon!
