The foods of Lanzhou Mee Tarik, SS 2
Our first pick from the menu was the beef slices cold noodles. The sauce had a pleasant, slight savory taste, and taking the staff’s advice to add a bit of vinegar turned out to be a game-changer. The combination of the vinegar hint and the cold noodles was just right, making it a dish we genuinely enjoyed.
Shifting gears to the hot dishes, we gave the chicken braised noodles a go. The stir-fried braised chicken, generously tossed with the noodles, delivered a satisfactory taste. While it didn’t quite match the excellence of the cold noodles, it was a decent choice for a heartier option.
For a little something on the side, we ordered the fried Chinese chives pocket. These pockets surprised us with their juicy chives and a subtle touch of egg. However, three pieces proved to be a bit much for our appetites, leading us to take some away for later.
In summary, Lanzhou Mee Tarik provides a pleasing dining experience with a range of dishes worth exploring. We’re already eager to return and sample more of their menu, anticipating new discoveries and future favorites.
