Tasty Lunch at Jamun in Glo Damansara
We want to share our recent lunch experience at Jamun, an Indian restaurant tucked away in Glo Damansara. No fancy words here, just good food and good vibes.
We decided to swing by during lunch and dive into some of their signature dishes.
First up was the Palak Patta Chaat – crispy spinach leaves, potatoes, and chickpeas, all jazzed up with yoghurt-mixed chutneys. Topped with pomegranate seeds and crispy sev, this dish was a special treat. The mix of sweet yoghurt and savory crispy spinach was an unexpected combo that turned out to be surprisingly delicious.
Next on our list was the Pani Puri – those little crispy balls you fill with cool mint soup. Pop it in your mouth, and bam! The burst of cool soup and crispy skin was a flavor explosion that we didn’t see coming. Trust me, it was unbelievably good.
Wanting to try a bit of everything, we opted for the vege banana leaf meal. It came with a variety of condiments, curry gravy, papadum, and rasum. Just what we needed to satisfy our taste buds. We also couldn’t resist adding a plate of deep-fried ikan bulus and a tandoori roti for some carbs.
The overall verdict? The food was tasty, and the ambience was welcoming. We’re already eyeing a few other dishes on the menu that we can’t wait to try next time. Jamun, you’ll definitely be seeing us again soon!
