Fatty Mee Hoon Kueh House Klang – Simply Delicious
Fatty Mee Hoon Kueh is located in Klang. It has been selling mee hoon kueh for decades.
It is a famous spot for a hearty bowl for local and those from out of town. Mee hoon kueh is rarely found in KL and sometime is available in pan mee shop if they have this mee hoon kueh variety.

The Menu
The menu of Fatty mee hoon kueh is simple: just mee hoon kueh in small, large or extra large portion. There are also side dishes to add on.
For take away, there are two options. First would be the shop to cook the mee hoon kueh all ready in hot soup. The second option on the other hand, the shop will pack all the raw ingredients, uncooked dough and soup to bring back and cook it fresh at home.
There are actually also noodle from the same mee hoon kueh dough to choose from.
The food
We ordered two bowl of small mee hoon kueh and added on egg. Usually we will also add vegetable and ikan bilis but not this round.
The mee hoon kueh had good umami taste. Not too salty yet slight sweet after taste. Most importantly, not feeling thirsty after eating – our indication of whether they added excessive MSG 🙂
The mee hoon kueh was also delicate, it was all manually pinch to give a good texture.
The environment
Fatty mee hoon kueh is a no frill eatery. Diners ordered, paid, had a good bowl of mee hoon kueh and leaf to vacate the seats for next one to come in.
We have been frequenting them for many years and gladly did not notice drop in the standard.
