A Taste of Bali at Ole Ole Bali in Subang Jaya
If you’re looking to experience the flavors of Bali, Ole Ole Bali is the place to go. We recently visited this restaurant, read on to find out more.
Savoring Bali’s Delights: Nasi Campur
Our meal started with Nasi Campur, a delightful Balinese mixed rice dish. The plate has Balinese Grilled Lemongrass Prawns, Squid, Fish, Chicken Rendang, and Sate Lilit.
The Balinese Grilled Lemongrass Prawns were a treat with their smoky and lemongrass-infused flavors. The Squid and Fish were cooked to perfection, showing their freshness. The Sate Lilit, a minced seafood skewer, added a unique touch to the meal.
In addition to the main dish, we enjoyed Lawar Kacang, a crunchy bean salad, and Rempeyek, crispy anchovy crackers. We also had two types of sambal – Sambel Terasi and Sambel Goreng – for those who like some spice.
A Sweet Finish: Grass Jelly with Rambutan
To end our meal on a sweet note, we tried the Grass Jelly with Rambutan dessert. The grass jelly had a unique texture that was both refreshing and light. The Rambutan added sweetness to each bite. The Lemongrass and Ginger Syrup gave the dessert an aromatic flavor that balanced the sweetness of the Rambutan.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Balinese-inspired furnishings. The warm lighting and traditional Balinese music create a cozy atmosphere that adds to the dining experience. It’s an ideal setting for any occasion, whether it’s a romantic dinner, a family get-together, or a meal with friends.
Whether you’re a fan of Indonesian cuisine or simply looking for a unique dining experience, give Ole Ole Bali a try; it’s a taste of Bali right here in Subang Jaya.
