Ushering the most awaited year of the Snake, Le Méridien Petaling Jaya has prepared their CNY Buffet and Dinner. The most majestic and elegant spread to be served throughout the Chinese New Year festive period from 14 January until 9 February
2025.

All-day dining Pasar Baru will be preparing arrays of delicacies to fit all occasion to celebrate the auspicious
festivities from buffets, afternoon tea set, and wholesome 8-course set menus. Chinese Banquet Kitchen specialist Chef Chai Chun Keong have meticulously prepared 2 sets of 8-course menu that caters for 10 people per set.

Their CNY buffet offers a delightful mix of flavors, but the highlight is the special 8-course dinner set menu. It’s the perfect way to mark the occasion with family and friends.

The meal begins with a Prosperity Smoked Salmon Yee Sang, a vibrant and fresh appetizer that symbolizes abundance and good fortune. Tossing the ingredients together brings joy and well wishes for the year ahead. Next up is the rich Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Morel Mushrooms, which is both comforting and flavorful, setting the tone for the courses to come.

For the main dishes, there’s something for everyone. The Roasted Duck with Black Truffle Sauce is tender and savory. Must paired with its dipping sauce – perfect!!

While Steamed Soon Hock Fish with Light Soy Sauce offers a delicate, fresh taste that’s perfect for any seafood lover. Next-up, Wok-Fried Prawn with Homemade Shrimp Paste and Highlands Greens combines sweet prawns with a fragrant shrimp paste – delicious.

Follow-by, Braised Sea Cucumber with Mushrooms, Black Moss, and Jade Vegetable Dumplings, which are flavorful. Moving on to the hearty rice dish, Clay Pot Chinese Steamed Rice with Waxed Meat and Baby Abalone. It is a savory delight that brings warmth to the meal.

Next-up - Dessert

To end the dinner on a sweet note, the dessert features Chilled Mango with Sago. A refreshing treat that’s light and fruity. The Deep-Fried Kataifi Nian Gao Roll adds a crispy, indulgent touch to finish the meal.
