BKT At Restoran Soon Seng in Klang

In Klang, Restoran Soon Seng is a favorite spot known for its Bak Kut Teh. We recently visited this cozy eatery for breakfast and tried their soup and dried Bak Kut Teh, both served in clay pots. Let’s talk about our experience and the tasty Malaysian dishes we enjoyed.

Soup Bak Kut Teh:

When the staff brought the bak kut teh to our table, the smell of herbs and spices filled the air. The pork ribs were super tender and came off the bone easily. The soup tasted herby, but it wasn’t too strong. It was a perfect mix of flavors, especially when we ate it with the rice.

Dried Bak Kut Teh:

The Dried Bak Kut Teh was different but delicious. It had pork ribs stir-fried with lots of tasty herbs and spices. The pork had a saucy coating, and the flavors were bold and exciting. It was a nice change from the traditional soup version.

Sides:

To go with our Bak Kut Teh, we ordered okra (ladyfingers). They were cooked just right, still a bit crunchy, and had soaked up the gravy flavors. They added a fresh taste to the rich main dishes.
