My recent visit, I had the pleasure of savoring few of the TeoChew cuisines.
1st up, seafood porridge, 2nd braised kiam chye with pork belly rice, follow by dessert TeoChew tau suan with youzakuey, along with a comforting cup of TeoChew special tea. Tea in a mug serves together with an old school thermos flask (hot water to refill your tea).
Remember this thermos flask – you know which era you are from 🙂
