Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of PJS 13, Flour Fire & Stone has quickly emerged as the talk of the town. Boasting both indoor and outdoor dining areas, this newly opened café offers a spacious and inviting atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meals. Recently, I had the pleasure of savoring their delectable offerings for breakfast. From the savory Banger to the delightful Muffin, every bite was a treat. However, it was the peach strudel that truly stole the show with its generous portions, delicate flavors, and impeccable texture.

The Breakfast

Stepping into Flour Fire & Stone, the cozy and welcoming ambiance immediately enveloped us. The café’s tasteful décor seamlessly blended rustic elements with modern touches.

For our breakfast, we opted for the Banger—a dish featuring chicken thyme bangers, mashed potato, grilled streaky bacon, baby onion gravy, and sauerkraut. The combination of flavors was outstanding, with the savory bangers perfectly complemented by the richness of the mashed potatoes and the tangy sauerkraut.

We also indulged in the Muffin, a delightful sandwich of Norwegian smoked salmon nestled in an English muffin. Adorned with dill mayo, capers, egg wedge, avocado, and red onion, this creation burst with fresh and vibrant flavors, creating a truly satisfying breakfast choice.

The Unforgettable Peach Strudel:

However, it was the peach strudel that left an indelible mark on our taste buds. This beloved treat, appeared on almost every table, boasted a generous portion of juicy peaches enveloped in a flaky and crispy pastry shell.

What set this peach strudel apart was its delicate balance of flavors. Despite the cream being sandwiched between the layers of pastry, it maintained a perfect sweetness that allowed the natural flavors of the peaches to shine. The contrasting textures of the soft cream and the crisp pastry created a symphony of sensations with every bite. Definitely a must order as dessert!

Flour Fire & Stone is undeniably a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts in PJS 13 and beyond. We will definitely be back for more of the dishes and for the peach strudel.
