Tonkatsu by Ma Maison @ One Utama - Juicy Pork Chop

Tonkatsu by Ma Maison by far serves the best pork chop in town. Slight pricey but the quality is good and portion is huge, we would say reasonably priced.

The Tonkatsu Menu

Tonkatsu by Ma Maison serves many varieties of pork chop, it comes with different parts, sauces and portions, but all look same tempting.

The set meal comes with rice, miso soup, fresh cabbages, pickles, mustard. In our previous visit, the cabbage was refillable, we did not request for refill this round therefore unable to confirm whether it is still free flow.

The Tonkatsu

We ordered a Jumbo Rosu Katsu set which came with a deep fried pork loin (250g). Also ordered a Wafu Negiorishi Rosu Katsu set which came with deep fried pork loin (160g) with radish and spring onion sauce. The spring onion was so fresh and we can taste the spiciness of it.

According to the guide, we may enjoy the pork chop with salt, the sweet and spicy tonkatsu sauce. The taste really got elevated with the sauce, though the pork chop itself was already very juicy and crispy.

The set meal was very filling and satisfying, the jumbo pork chop was just right for someone who loves deep fried pork chop. Not to forget also the fresh shredded cabbage, it was so crunchy and really balanced the oiliness of pork chop. The best condiment of the set meal.
