Tatsu Japanese Cuisine – InterContinental KL
It was our first visit to Tatsu Japanese Cuisine, InterContinental KL. The experience was great.
Compared to our recent visit to Miyabi, Sheraton Petaling Jaya, we would prefer Tatsu over Miyabi. Simply due to the foods at Tatsu gave us more satisfaction. 🙂
The Menu
To start off, Tatsu’s menu is quite a standard Japanese cuisine menu. It serves sushi, sashimi, grilled, udon, saba and etc.
Check out menu: here.
The food
We were there for lunch so we chose two items from the lunch set: Sushi Teishoku and Tatsu Tempura Moriawase.
Sushi Teishoku came with five varieties of sushi and four pieces of California maki. As for Tempura Moriawase, it came with assorted tempura seafood and vegetables.
Both set lunchs came with appetizer, salad, chawanmushi and miso soup.
Overall, the sashimi, without a doubt was great and fresh. Tempura was also done well. Crunchy skin dipped into tempura sauce elevated the taste and texture.
The environment and price
Environment is almost flawless hotel standard. Furthermore, the ambience was good though there were quite some patrons during lunch hours. Not to forget the service was attentive as well.
The lunch costed us about RM 200.
Worth returning?
Yes.
