Jom Rock, 大家樂 Sea Park: Exploring Yong Tau Fu
Jom Rock, the well-known Ipoh Yong Tau Fu eatery, has recently set its roots in Sea Park, PJ. Intrigued by the buzz, we decided to start our day with a visit.
Check out other eateries in Sea Park that we visited previously:
To begin with, we opted for the Curry Loh Shu Fun and Sweet Sauce Chee Cheong Fun as our carb choices.
Once settled at our table, we eagerly awaited the yong tau fu we had ordered. Our selection included the standout fried seng kuang, fried bitter gourd, spicy fried chili, fried dumpling, prawn ball, soup tofu, and lady finger. Each dish contributed its own distinct taste to our breakfast.
Beginning with the signature fried seng kuang, this delightful crunchiness was paired with a hint of sweetness. The bold kick from the fried chili added a spicy thrill to our taste buds.
The fried dumpling and prawn ball offered a perfect medley of textures and flavors. The light broth, lady finger and tender tofu in the soup tofu provided a comforting contrast to the other fried stuffs.
In summary, Jom Rock’s yong tau fu selection was not too bad, however we hope there are more non-fried items. The flavors and textures made our breakfast experience enjoyable.
