Banana Leaf Rice - Acha Curry House

Acha’s Banana Leaf Rice, if you are a fan BLR this is a must. Be warned though you’ll be “hooked” because its fingers licking good – oh yes !!!

They are now operating in SS 2, Petaling Jaya where formerly they were in Bukit Gasing, Petaling Jaya.

The Banana Leaf Rice

Each set (vegetarian meal) served with rice, vegetables, curry and papadum. Acha serves their meal with banana leaf (still).

For dine-in, firstly, their staff will provide you the banana leaf once you seat in and they will ask for your choice of rice, either white or indian rice.

Thereafter, the vegetables, this will be self-service, as you scoop your desired vegetables and portion to your liking. Our usual must have definitely, the mashed pumpkin (it is absolutely delicious).

Next, curry gravy. Their staff will bring the curry container and you will be spoiled with choices, as they have chicken curry, fish curry, crab curry and salted fish curry. Our favorite, will be fish and crab curry. But why limit ourselves, the best we would say, little scoop of everything to made it a curry combo (haha), Yummy !!!

Most importantly, the add-on i.e., sambal ikan bilis (which is one of the must have for me at least) its savory & spiciness add “umph” to your BLR.
